Pausing is Presence
About Raha
Sometimes, life can be a lot to handle alone. We believe our mental health improves when we slow down and create space for our entire self: the messy, the quiet, the unsure.

Raha Psychotherapy is a mental health service led by Simran, a trauma-informed, neuro-queer affirming therapist. Our practice aims to provide culturally sensitive, quality mental health care.

Raha is named after what we believe lies at the heart of psychotherapy: presence. Raha (verb) – ‘to be/remain’ mirrors the steady and attuned presence we hold for our clients.

I believe that change becomes possible when we feel safe enough to be vulnerable and are met with curiosity, compassion and care.
My practice is relational and process-oriented, i.e. I support clients in recognising patterns, building on their strengths, and developing mind-body awareness to ignite change. I integrate attachment theory, internal family systems, narrative, solution-focused and mindfulness-based practices, depending on the client's needs.

I primarily support individuals aged 16+ years navigate anxiety, life transitions, grief, childhood trauma, self-esteem, relationships, and neurodivergence.
